This full-time contract position begins in August 2026 and continues through May 2027, offering a structured Monday through Friday schedule.
Your background in providing both direct and indirect occupational therapy services within schools will be highly valued. You’ll serve as a vital resource, fostering student development and promoting success in the classroom setting. Guaranteed hours provide stability, and you won’t be assigned additional responsibilities like bus or parent pick-up duty outside of your contracted hours. If you’re a travel therapist, stipend eligibility will support your assignment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with school-based experience (or strong clinical background serving pediatric populations)
- Previous work with students in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Ability to implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers and staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and treatment to students with diverse needs
- Document progress and maintain compliance with IE requirements
- Consult with faculty and families to support student independence
- Adapt therapy approaches to help students succeed in academic and social participation
